Dayton Business Journal selects winners of 40 Under 40 awards
Amy Radachi, Executive Director of Rebuilding Together Dayton has been selected as one of the winners of the Dayton Business Journal's annual 40 Under 40 awards.
A panel of judges reviewed nominations from members of the business community and selected the 40 winners based on three main criteria -- business leadership, community leadership and career path.
The winners will be honored at an awards banquet April 24, 2008 at the Dayton Convention Center in downtown Dayton. A special report in the April 25 issue of the DBJ will feature each of the winners.

Neighbor•Care Supported by WDTN Channel 2
and Lin Broadcasting
Wednesday, July 13 started out with rain, but it didn't dampen the efforts of dozens of executives from WDTN Channel 2 and their parent company Lin Broadcasting. By noon, a massive clean-up effort had taken place at two sites in the Phoenix Project area by Good Samaritan Hospital. Rosemary Dannin, Neighbor•Care Director, coordinated the effort with WDTN, CityWide Development and Good Samaritan Hospital. Lin Broadcasting CEO Gary Chapman presented a $10,000 check to the organization. "We enjoy being a part of the community," remarks Chapman.
Spread the Spirit Award 2006
Rebuilding Together Dayton received the Grand Prize for our latest video at Rebuilding Together's national conference held recently in Washington D.C. "100,000 Stories: Rebuilding Together" united over 300 representatives from affiliates across the country to share stories and ideas. Mike Kurtz of University of Dayton‛s Media Production Group did an outstanding job of producing the video. The video is available via CD-Rom in our brochure or on our website.
Spread the Spirit Award 2005
Rebuilding Together Dayton is the recipient of the national "Spread the Spirit" Award in the category: Outstanding Video/Website for our website at the national Rebuilding Together conference in Chicago September 14-18. This is the fourth year Rebuilding Together Dayton has received an award for public relations tools.
"We are very pleased to receive this award. We are so proud of our marketing tools and are thrilled to receive recognition on a national level," states Amy Radachi, Executive Director of the Dayton affiliate. Dennis Hamilton of Dennis Hamilton.NET designed the site.
Spread the Spirit Award 2004
Rebuilding Together Dayton is the recipient of the national "Spread the Spirit" Award in the category: Outstanding Special Communications Tool for our brochure and cd-rom. The award was presented at the national Rebuilding Together conference in Seattle October 6-10, 2004. Brian Wilson of Wilson Advertising and Design designed and produced the brochure and cd. The Spread the Spirit award was endowed in 1994 through the generosity of John and Susan McMeel, founders of Christmas in April*Kansas City. The goal of the award is to raise national awareness of Rebuilding Together affiliates for outstanding achievements in public relations. |
