Homeowner Testimonials

I want to express so much thanks for your help in giving me a water heater. It is so nice not to have to boil water anymore. Thanks for your kindness.
- Karen B.

Please accept my sincere gratitude to you and your Board for helping make our paint day marathon a success. Indeed, it was. Three houses in 11 hours—whew! I have so much respect for your organization. You all do great things for folks who have so little. Keep up the great work.
-Leah W.

I thank you so very much for your kindness to help me with my bathroom. I feel so blessed. I will always be grateful for your kindness. Everything happened so fast. I now have a new bathroom. I am so happy.
- Ruth H.

The man that was here (Ralph), I believe, was very nice and did a great job. Thank you so much. I appreciate your caring every time I use the bar coming up my steps and the one in the bathroom. Thanks so much.
- Hazel B.

First, of all I would like to thank everyone for painting my home so beautifully. It was a wonderful blessing from the Lord and I thank him, too. I would like to say that I am so sorry for taking so long to thank everyone. I have been in pain most of the summer with my knee, but I have had my surgery now and hopefully I can get my life back on track. “Smile” God Bless you and your co-workers. I love you all. Thanks again for making my home the prettiest one on Osmond Ave. “Smile”
- Joyce D.

I wanted to say a very sincere “thank you” for all of the help that you have given to my family and to myself. You have taken an awful lot of stress off of us. This winter when the snow is flying and it is freezing cold outside, we will remember that you helped us have a warm place for our family. Thank you so much.
- Carol P.   (resulting in the return of two children to their family home)

I really appreciate receiving the ramp. It is truly a work of art. They did a fantastic job and now I'm able to get out. Thanks to all.

I just want to let you know who much we appreciate the work done on our house and yard on April 29th. The paint job done on our house came out beautiful. Everyone was friendly and happy. Cathy and Steve were great. Everyone comes by and asks “who painted the house?” We have the prettiest house and yard on the block. Flowers were planted everywhere. They are all blooming and looking great. This was a job we could never have gotten done. I thank God for Rebuilding Together Dayton and everyone who works and volunteers their time. I want to thank everyone from the bottom of my heart.
- Mary and Larry R.

Your organization has helped me so much more that I can express with a simple “thank you.” I can't begin to tell you how much the quality of my life has improved as a direct result of the fabulous wheelchair ramp and all the other many, many renovations you made to my home. I am forever grateful to Sue and Roger Cox and those wonderful people from Shiloh Church. Thanks so much to everyone at Rebuilding Together!
- Lisa G.

Thanks for the fast and hard work that you did for my dad. I would like to thank you all so much for the nice wheelchair ramp that you built for my dad. Dad is now able to get out of his house and go different places. He is now able to go and see his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren for the holidays. Dad is so thankful that there are great people around.
