Rebuilding Together Dayton Elects NewOfficers to Board of Directors

Dayton, Ohio, June 22, 2011— Jack Lohbeck was elected as chairman of the Board of Directors of Rebuilding Together Dayton, a local non-profit organization committed to rehabbing homes of low-income, elderly and disabled homeowners. Lohbeck is director, Business Consulting at Battelle and Battelle.

Other officers elected were Craig Jackson as immediate past chairman.  Jackson is Vice President and Treasurer with Dayton Power and Light.  Marty Coates was electedvice chair.  Coates is Vice President of MJ Coates Homes.  , Donna Goss was elected as treasurer.  Goss serves as controller for Wagner Smith.  Leah Werner was elected secretary. Werner is director of Housing and Community Development at East End Community Services.

Rebuilding Together works in partnership with communities to rehabilitate owner-occupied, low-income housing, particularly for the elderly, the disabled and for families with children.  The goal is to keep people living in safety and independence and to harness the spirit of neighbors helping neighbors.
